I saw at a gun shop once (i wasn't buying guns, just tagged along out of curiosity) they had these cases for pistols that were full of rectangular prisms of foam and to put something in you just pull out the foam prisms in the shape of the object you wanna stuff in there, might be worth looking into.

ohno
She'll be right mate.
Maybe Ray's method of packing models for transportation might be the go.

The plan is to put peanuts or foam or bubble wrap inside the case with the model/figure/plaque, slide the case into the box it comes with, bubble wrap the outside, maybe even some foam, then put in another box.
I do prefer hand delivering them so I know they arrive safely but it has to post to WA
Anyone flying from Sydney to WA on monday?

Figure is mostly done, just need to do some stripes on the boots when I mount it... I always tend to stuff the boots if done before mounting.
Do the helmet after I matt coat the body to dull down the suit for realism.
Plaque just needs to be mounted, which I am doing as I type this, with my other 2 hands.
I'll matt coat the body shortly, after the decals dry a bit. should have it all mounted and done tomorrow.

oh and the glove...

Sounds like a plan with the packing side of things mate, across the country is a challenge, let's hope it's all okay at the other end
Me....can't go wrong with a bit of turd paper when packing models
tip: make sure it's plain/unscented or it will destroy paint/decals
