1:25 scale 1st prints

Post by bodgybro »

Our current FG, VE and our latest 4 door HQ were all scaled down to 1:25 scale for the most common modelling scale.
We got our first prints the other day, here they are....

Some of the pieces. An FG dash, the PDW Vega Rim and the Sabelt seat next to a #11 X-acto blade to give scale reference

All are being prepped to see how well they printed, to make any adjustments for further prints.
The FG already has a home waiting, the HQ as well... just need to find a buyer for the VE first print... or it may end up as a gift for someone who helped us out recently.

Indeed i do... I also have your White ALPS cartridge still :)
I have a new 5000 series, so Gold and Silver foil (think BMF) is now possible.
And... I may just take you up on that photoshoot :)

Wow!! amazing that is actually printed.
Other than using them in livery schemes for race cars.
You could possibly do some scale gold leaf and silver leaf like they incorporate into 1:1 paint jobs.

Yep printed.
When you want to do a gold stencil/pattern type design, let me know. I would like to see how it works too.

SO tasty  Can't wait to get my hands on a Kingswood to do a replica of my mum's old one.... in Kermit green

That gold is insane as well, I agree with Luke, some gasser-type/lowrider gold swirly patterns would go niiiice!
