Ya you not wrong, If you take your time you can paint the track to look like metal.
Some blokes on u tube go mad because of the rubber tracks or if some thing else is wrong or they will put a full inside but you don't see it once its done. Seen some tanks with over size mud on the sides were the track are.
All I will be doing a just a bit of light weather not to heavy or thick.

Putting this one here just gotten it two weeks ago its a 1/35 scale Panzer I by DRAGON,
Have had a sneak peck inside,
both tracks have to be put together lots of tiny parts

Well just made a very small start on the Panzer IV using a new glue from Tamiya its there extra thin cement but think I will be going back to my old glue as this one evaporates very quickly
and it drys before you can put part in place, man its quick and jezz it stinks too.

Try piecing the parts together and then apply the glue to the joint and capillary action will pull it into the the joint. Thats why its so thin.
