That's were I was going for containers at the reject shop.
There is a lot of prep work to do before any prime or paint goes on it.
Got the colours worked out for it.

Been buying some Vallejo Model Color acrylic paint for this one, going with brown sand, dark sand, buff and off white on the horse body.

Well I just spent half a hour crawling around on the floor looking for a part that fell on the carpet, pullinghair ya the carpet monster was playing with it, It was the small bit of leather armour that goes on the side of the centaur, was just about to give up looking for it when I seen it.

Its to cold here for glue to work, The other day glue the tail on and bumped it off looks like will have to work out a way to pin it with a pin and glue it in place.

Build in heated room, use a dehydrator, use a good quality super glue/CA. Place parts in a vented container and place that outside in direct sunlight. Thats about all I can offer as suggestions to help deal with the cold situation.

And yeah pin it would help big time.

Ya been thinking on heating the room up a bit, Its been ice cold hear even in the sun.
I used Loctite super glue that I picked up to glue this one together never used it before.
The trick in putting a pin in is line both holes up. will think on that also have glue the two rear feet onto a bit of wood for easy handling used wood glue so bit of water and thin blade and it will come unstuck front legs are in the air.
I am taking my time as if I rush it I know I will Bugger it up yes!
