PORSCHE 959

Post by B61 MACK »

This is a Tamiya kit of a Porsche 959 that I started in Feb' this year, I painted it red over the silver plastic and three weeks later you could see the silver coming into the red on the roof and bonnet, So after a Big dummy spit I packed it away with the shits with it, Two months ago I removed the paint and put it away again and started to buy Tank kits yes! :D The other day I put a coat of flat white on it about six light coats and one heavy coat, waiting to see if the silver comes into the white crossed it does not, Oh got seats done in a light Tan.

Ya you could say that  Been thinking on the colour for it might put two tiny drops of light brown in white to see if I can get a pale cream colour for it.

Mixed up a bit of colour for this one using few drops of TAMIYA XF-57 BUFF in TAMIYA X-2 WHITE, All was going well this morning untill moisture came out with the paint pullinghair been look for a while for water trap but not found one as yet to fit.
I had another look at colour that I mixed up it was a bit to light so added a bit more Buff and now happy with the colour on it.
Once it dryed I will add a bit of pearl powder to some clear and put it over it.
