N-scale Layout

Post by B61 MACK »

Putting this one here its also going to be a on going build.
I am building a small N-scale layout 1200x600.
Have a oval track down with two side tracks.
Here is photo of my Diesel Loco three Different SANTA FE Warbonnet Loco's and a very old NSWGR 44 Class Diesel which I changed colours on it.
Will put up photos as work goes on with it.

The Santa Fe loco's are made by Kato and are super smooth to run, The 44 class is a Iberten made in Spain you can not buy any more Iberten Locos and there are no parts for them, I bought it back in 1995 it was painted in NSWGR Candy colour and I repainted it to Indian Red with Chrome yellow, Oh it does not run very good and has a bit of a wobble as it goes around the track.
All wagons are Atlas and two Kato Passenger cars.
There is a new 44 Class Diesel that i would like to buy but got to save up some pennys first.

Ya they are tiny but people are small too so is cats and dogs, yes! going to repaint the Ute paint is chipped on it, good thin its white metal.
What I can not understand the cost of them, ute was $10 the truck which its a plastic one that you have to putt together cost $23  don't that that many for that reason. If it was Z-scale boy are they sky high in price, Z-scale runs on 6mm wide track, N runs on 9mm.
