2009 DODGE CHALLENGER SRT8

Post by B61 MACK »

This is Revell Special Edition 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8.
Box art shows it in red so went looking on line and found one in red so that started me thinking on colour, I could of airbrushed the Tamiya red in the small bottle but I wanted the colour to pop, So I looked at Tamiya rattle can range and found a colour that grab my eye, So I had kit and paint I asked my mate Bruce if he would paint it for me which he did, Oh gave him a kit for doing it. yes! I can not use a rattle can if my life dependent on it  I have even decanted paint into a jar to airbrush but end up in trouble too trying to decant it end up with paint every were and most of it on me. yes! Forget which red it is will asked Bruce.
So here it is Oh forgot to dust it.ImageImage

Think the colour was Tamiya's new Ferrari Red TS-85 Mica Red, will double check with Bruce.
Will look at making a start on this one soon.

Does this one come with racing stripe decals? I completely forget.

No racing strips with this one only red side strips and the black one for the bonnet which I will use.
It will be a while before I get to this one Luke got a Sherman, Camaro and Mustang to finish before this one.
Might be Spring time  yes! before I get to it might have to pull my finger out. rofl
