57 Chevrolet pickup truck

Post by B61 MACK »

This is a old build that I been working on, After I painted the cab found out the windscreen did not fit, So now the cab has been striped back to work on fitting the glass.
Will be repainting it the same colours.

Put a bit of thin plastic card on the bottom of the windscreen frame, its enough to help the glass fit in place, once painted and glass in place you wont see it, crossed

Will be using Tamiya Acrylic X-2 White on the roof top the rest will be Tamiya Acrylic X-4 Blue which is a dark blue.

The first one of these I built back in 1992 the glass did not fit the top so I put the sun visor on it so you could not see the two mm gap, This kit does not have the sun visor.

Must be going mad I worked on the windscreen frame for this one for a few days, This morning I got it out to have another look at it and found the glass does not fix anymore WTF pullinghair if I did not know better I say the glass has shrunk  crazy So I put some Tamiya putty around the opening, Will give it a week before I shape it to refit the glass.
