'76 FORD GRAN TORINO

Post by B61 MACK »

Been want to build this one for years now always missed getting one untill now and this one is in white plastic not like the stripped tomato one which is in red plastic.
As its a great day for splashing colour on i mixed up a pale blue from Tamiya Sky blue X-14 and white X-2.
I will be finishing the Tiger before this one.

Funny you say that Luke, I had a look in Casey's this afternoon at the paint and picked up three bottles,XF-66 light grey,XF-18 medium blue,XF-23 light blue, will put a bit of colour on a plastic spoon to see which one works best.

There's the blue and grey in Tamiya pots that I swear are the same colour

I usually take a nature book or two into the garage with me and compare the colours to the ones in the book so I know I'm not swinging in the dark

Looking sweet Al!
