Very impressive stuff, it's nice that you can have a physical reminder of your mates skill and passion and friendship :)

I was organizing my non-fiction books and came across an old book of my Grandmas she gave to me donkeys ago, it's full of trains, which I was obsessed with before Hotwheels and Matchbox took over

I was not happy with the 44 class diesel as it had a different chassis under it and there was bits missing off it so I took it back to Ivan at Kurri Kurri and swap it for another Diesel, NSWGR 80 class diesel and its in Indian Red.

Would like a set of passenger cars but they are selling out fast you have to pre-order them, Tony paid $400 for this set. :(

Just got the second NSWGR 80 Class Diesel its in the Reverse colour scheme, there is more Chrome Yellow on the front and rear of the cabs and a wider strip a long the sides and the Indian Red is a darker shade.
Here is both 80's together.

Sat the 48 and 80's on Laurie's old layout for photo shot, Still got to buy a controller for it.
The 48 is in the 3rd paint scheme called Candy.
S.A. had the 48's but were number 830 class.
