Had a bit of a hick up with the 48 Diesel, When Powerline first bought out there Diesel on two of the front axles they had a small rubber band on one side, After a time you had to replace them which was hard to do, Now Powerline has made a set of replacement wheel sets for there locos.
I got a set but had to get help from young Nathan from Barnes Hobbies, we replaced the front set and he said that I should have no problem replacing rear ones, Did that Loco would not run so after a phone for help I found out I put the rear ones in the wrong way around causing a short.
After swapping them around the diesel runs around.

Oh new axles and wheels had better insulator in them the old ones had two rubber bands on wheels at the front of the loco and are a time they would split or slip and you could not get new ones to fit.
Happy that I got it fixed now. yes!

Yesterday at Kurri i picked up a packet of Large Aggregate Bags for a load for the K wagon to give it a bit of a load and bit of weight.
Glue them in with white glue if at a later date need to removed them.

Found my two old Lima 44 class Diesels loco's, I forgot were I got them from there are second hand ones and someone cut the front rear skirts off them.
I been looking around and found that I can get the missing skirts in white metal and will be able to put Kadee's on them.
Also the dark brown one is in wrong colours so today I have removed the paint and put white primer on the body this afternoon.
It will be painted in what was called Red Terror Scheme which is all red on the body with white along the bottom edge and white around the rear window area.
The Red Terror scheme came after the Candy scheme and it was quicker to get Diesel out of the paint shop.

Both 44's had same number don't know why different colour.
