Re: HO-scale
I now have three 48's.

Re: HO-scale
My 48 fleet is growing, went over to Kurri Kurri this afternoon and another 48 followed me home, Got it a bit cheaper as it had something on the roof.
Both Ivan and me looked close at it and it looked like the glue from sticky tape magnify
When I got it home I used some Tamiya buffing polish and removed it, just need to add Kadee's to it.
Oh and it a MkI 48 in Indian Red, I now have a MkI, two MkII's and a MkIII. just need a MkIV.

Ya they have done that.

Re: HO-scale
I been looking at this one for the last six months and today I bite the bullet and bought it home from Ivan's shop at Kurri today.
It's made by Wombat Models NSWGR C30T class Locomotive that was mainly used on this states branch lines.

Had to put these behind it as a short mixed goods train.

Re: HO-scale
Oh got to now put Driver and Fireman on the foot plate yes!
There is some of these been Loco' saved.
These's loco when they were first did not have the tender on the rear, They had side water tank on the engine and a small coal bunker on the rear and had another set of wheels under the cab, As the Diesels started to make in roads some steam engine were scrapped, Some of the C30 was rebuilt they removed the side tanks and removed he rear set of wheels under the cab and the coal bunker was removed and they replace it with the tender from the 32 class and 50 class loco's.
Some tenders had six wheels under then others had the boggy set under them.
