Gundam Panel line fine marker

On the other leg of my $2 bit I’ve done this. There’s 2 types of markers for panel line the water based type I have here and a pouting type which I have not used. Here is the fine panel pen.



Standard black fine Gundam marker





Just hold the pen at a 45 degree angle and follow the panel lines and markings. You can clean it up at this stage by just rubbing it off with your finger. You can rub the ink into the desired area too. Leave for 24 hours to dry





No need to be perfect



First time trying this but every other thinner is too strong. I’ve read the the odourless types are weaker. Dip the cotton tip in and it took me 6-8 passes to start removing ink



Results







These are quick and easy. You’ll get a thicker line then the enamel technique. They mudge easy which is great for weathering. I’ve seen great work with these and weathering.

Another great tip thanks for sharing.
Watch out using Odourless products as its a lot badder for your health as you breath in more. That's why I don't use Odourless turps with my artist oil paint.

I think I just got the standard 6-set, not really sure I did grab some of the Tamiya panel line stuff as well, that stuff rocks!
