Thanks Al! I will have to use at least 2 more colour for the pistons. Super Chrome Silver 2 for the piston and unsure on the piston casing. I’ll have to see what I have when I’m up to that bit.

I had to open a new pack of clips. So many parts in 1 arm and 1 leg!! It almost broke me. Next time I’ll be doing them separately instead of together.

Ready and divided into groups (I know what’s where, I hope)

If that’s not too much trouble. The 3mm are a little loose and the 2mm is tight. Any chance of something in 2.5mm? Only asking cos you offered rofl

Knock out some paint this morning. 1500 black primer, silver, gold, titanium and a intermediate blue/grey colour. Will assemble some later and I’ll need to mask some up for a second colour maybe tomorrow if I can wake up early enough rofl

Good to see some progress with the paint work, weather temps are going to be perfect for the next week so got to make the most of it.

The timbers have been really handy. They are 30x70x40 so something similar would be great

Masking takes ages for 5secs of painting, but so worth the effort.
Frame is going to look great with the colour separations. Good way to paint and build up, doing what you, when you can and wont get burnt out or overwhelmed trying to do everything all at once.
The joys of gunpla most of the time there is 2 of everything to paint.

One arm completed!!

One foot

One leg

Heaps of moving parts. You can see the gold “knee pit” move down with the bend

Image

Piston. It has a gold scrap on it but that’s ok. Might clearance the other leg for practice

How my organisation looks so far. Still so many parts in the box!!

Getting there a bit at a time, wise decision on the colour separation. That gold and titanium is a excellent combo.

rofl once you get the frame done and start the armour it will empty out pretty quick.
