Started arm number 2, already panel lined and flat cleared the blue before taping and spraying the gun metal.

A few new bits today. Realised I needed a better base for my clips.

Also got my Wave part separating tool. It’s a little different to the U star and the Wave is a lot sharper. You could cut your self on it!!

One almost finished arm. I used black instead of the dark grey. Also realised I lost a part, an important part which connects the arm to the shoulder. I either threw it in the bin with the masking tape after paint. Or it slipped in the clip and has shot across the shed. Doubt I’ll be able to find it but will check the bin tomorrow (the wheelie bin)

That bit of thick cardboard were you are standing the parts in that's painted looks a bit like what you can buy for a cat to dig its claws in yes! the one I had for the cat was two foot long  funny that.

Oh painting is coming a long nicely too.

I started on the legs and painted half of one leg. There’s so many parts!!!

I’ve got a bit of a formula going now. Paint lacquer (TS series cans) and then enamel (the panel line paint) and then acrylic for the remaining details. That way when you do clean up with the thinners, you don’t remove the paint layer underneath.

No carpet. It either slipped out of the clip and shot across the shed or stuck to some tape and went in the bin and then the wheelie bin before I realised.

Bandai will sell parts in Japan only. Pls Parts will buy the parts and sent them internationally for a fee.
