One leg finished. I’m think starting to pick the colours better. Light gun metal for the frame. Steel which is darker for shadows but also a gloss to catch light. Silver for highlights.

Now to repeat this on the other leg pullinghair

Just caught up with this build mate, very impressed with the work you have put in so far.
Knew that when you decided to do an MG you would knock it out of the park. Well done hi5 thumbsup

Lots of planning, preparation and painting. But the end result will make it all worth while, keep at it ;)

Let me know the diameter of the paint clip rods you are using and il make you same holders.

Thanks, I won’t detail every frame but wanted to learn and try them out. I think I’ll build a Zaku ver 2 later on and leave the whole frame exposed.

Yes lots of planning, colour selection and reading the instructions. The results are worth the effort.

The metal paint clip rods are 2mm and the wood paint clip rods are 3mm. That’d be really cool thanks Luke.

No weathering just yet Al, I’m thinking of these (MG kits) as brand new mobile suit builds. I’ll probably weather some HG kits first when I get to it.
