Cheers guys.

Not sure if I’ll leave them up front or relocate the radiator’s yet. Depends on room n how it’s looking once the two chassis became one and I redo the front suspension to suit the new chassis bits. I did think the same tho.

More chassis progress. Mainly cutting and trimming but I think I’ll be able to join the two piece together again soon. Hard part is lining up the engine location and getting the rear nice and square to everything else. Have been check stance as I go and it’s sitting nice!!

Mocked up how the convertible body would look but I’m still thinking of using a 3 window body question my original idea was 32 Ford, drag wheels, blown HEMI And a dark blue 5 window. This is very different to that plan so I want to save my 5 window body for now. I do have a resin chop top body but doubt I’ll use that.

Surprising how well both kits parts appear to fit together pretty good after chopping to fit hi5 thumbsup

Convertible body makes it look longer, sorta like it would be a salt flats racer dunno

I could possibly do that Al just let me do some mock ups first with my other kit to confirm it will fit the full fenders.

Agreed and this is high in the rear and really wedge like.

Stole some tyres from a Chevelle kit, you can see the warp in the side wall plus the new ones are Firestone’s. All started making the chassis one again. The tail shafts at a really strange angle now so it might get left out dunno

Just for you Al, fendless roadster mock up

Looking at the tyre clearance and I think it’ll hit the rad’s. If not they’ll looking strange under the full fenders. I will mock it up as I go tho

Here’s my ingenious 5 piece boxed up section holding the 2 half’s together

More mock ups. Chassis primed. Tail shaft is also in after some trimming and shortening of the tail shaft.

Radiators mocked up in the stock position

Roughtly where they’d sit under the full fenders. They would hit the grill tho, might be able to stand them up to avoid that.
