Yep, it’s taking long then I hoped but I’m panel lining the parts in the sure. When that dry (24hrs at least) I cut them out, god hand the nub, sand, trim, sand (280g n 400g) then the parts are off the the clips and a wet coat of the flat clear. I think these cans of Me Hobby have less pressure then the primer or Tamiya so every coat ends up wet rofl

Thanks, seeing as I want the OBB colours and will end up with a clean “new” mobile suit look. I fell this flat clear is a great finish. Keen to to the super clear which should be a lacquer so I’ll save that for a Ver.KA or something with water slide decals

I’ve made some more progress. I started on the body but have run out of clear coat. I did order more today but crossed the Xmas post isn’t causing delays just yet.

One disadvantage to doing a kit in clear coat is you can see 2 stress mark on the skirt where the pins locate on the waist.

The front is missing because there pipe work off of it which need the body completed first.

I’m going to have to make a start o the back pack while I wait on the post.

Still chipping away at this one. Used the dry rub for the Zeon logo. Very thin which caused a little damage and I got some glue residue from the backing piece.

Back park in on stuff the boosters so I’ll need to repaint, clear coat this time and then panel wash. I have the covers top coated ready to go.

Also I forgot to add. Either when the top coats to wet or near the end of the can it goes white. I’ve only done this to a few bits and it cleans up really easy with any thinner.
