Agree, that’s why I’m starting to feel like I should put more effort into the weapons as they look so good with a panel line and flat coat. Imagine a few extra details on top!!

I got one pose, shield machine guns too heavy to hold. So I took it off and tried another pose and broken the hip. I broken this 1/2 way they the build when it fell  so I’ll add a second pin and some more super glue when I get a chance.

Yeah just like that dry brushing adds to the look thumbsup

Damn that sucks, easy enough to fix using some 2mm brass rod ;) drill right through and beef up both sides. Seems like a weak spot.

Cheers guys. I had it standing in a cupboard and it fell over. Naturally when I open the door the Gouf jumped out and hit the floor breaking. I have 1.5mm tube in there but I think the twisting is what broke the glue so I’ll put a second 1.5mm rod in. That should stop it twisting, at least until I get pics and can leave it in a final pose.

Clean out the super glue and use plastic glue/cement 1st and let that fully cure. After that use super glue. Will get a much stronger joint that way ;)

Good idea. I just drilled double pinned and plastic glued it together. I’ll give it 2-3 days to cure and then I’ll run some super glue lightly around it. I could use epoxy putty I guess but I’m not willing to pull it down and repaint the hips.

Plastic cement should melt the joint back together, and small super glue bead all the way round for reinforcement. And the pin will take all the weight instead of the styrene.
