Aoshima 1970 4 door Skyline 2000GT-R PGC10

Post by sandboarder »

I don’t have the wheels for the GTX Kenmary that want to build (they’re released 31/3) so I figured I’d build this which I also don’t have wheels for rofl but BNA have them.

Quick mock up on the kit wheels, pretty sure I’ll paint it blue.

Small progress, K.I.S.S. For the interior. Well last time it was simple, all black. This time it’s black with some silver or BMF with white gauge faces.

I Motolow chromed the grill while the tail light panel is BMF

The paint is so good. You just need to think about how to apply it. I do it over head so excuss paint runs back into the tip/pen rather then down and onto my model. Those cotton tipped toothpicks I got off Luke come in handy too!! I’ve used heaps of them to apply chrome. Next BNA order will include probably 100 or more of them

That's quite genius bowdown

I saw some pointy-ended "Q-tips" on Ebay the other day, 75 for 7.50 if memory serves. Also you can get 50 3g or 5g little plastic jars for like ten bucks!... I need to stay off of Ebay

It’s not that terrible on big wheels is it? Chromes are 19” the other set is 18”
