Bandai Generation F SG Zaku 2 MS-06F

Post by sandboarder »

When I decided to buy some Bandai kits I knew this would be the first one I would build. It’s a bad guy in the Gundam series, the equivalent to a storm trooper. The Zaku are low grade mech suits the emery have to fight with. Apparently they have heaps but the higher tech good guys always wins. This kits also a SD or super deform. I think he looks cool!!!

So here’s a “what’s in the box” and abit of a OOB build.

There’s some rubber connector’s and 1/2 the instructions are colour

Head completed with sticker eye there’s was 8 pieces to this.

Completed OOB and the 2 tools I used

So the eye, head, waist, feet, shoulders, elbow, wrist, shield and shoulder armour all move!!!

I’m really happy with him OOB :D not sure if I’ll test the markers on him now or wait until I build the red one. Took about an hour to build, no glue.

I would have to paint him first.

He’s moulded in 4 colours. I just wanted to build one for a play. I have plans to build more with paint n details. I should be able to spray flat colours on a sunny 20 degree day without issues. He was $6 plus postage Al, want me to get you one when I order next n get more??

Done well mate, like how the Zaku's are just basic not over the top with wings and attachments. And yeah they have spikes

Good fun and stress free how the hobby can be when ya need a break from life ,the weather or full on Automotive builds.

Cheers KC and Luke. These Gundam’s will be a good break from Autos over winter. Excited to learn how to use the markers next before I look at the DBZ kits. I have a few ideas for colours I’ll try in SD kits before maybe trying them on a HG or even a MG difficultly/detail kit

Freiza would look cool with lowrider graphics on him instead of the boring old white  I've always wanted to do a lowrider Stormtrooper helmet come to think of it.
