Hey Allan and Jiminee.
As luck would have it, my daughter and I have both just spent the last week in isolation with covid.
She is "fully" vaccinated and I am not at all.
We both had very mild symptoms for the most part, but at worst it was nothing more than a mild cold for both of us.
I know it's very much different strokes for different folks, but there's no need to panic either, pretty much everyone I know has had it and most have had like a bad cold for a couple of days.
I am more concerned about the sudden rise in excess deaths and heart attacks in the last couple of years, that nobody in authority can explain, it's a mystery.........
Anywho that's been my experience with the dreaded covid last week.

I have to agree with Bear

Everyone I know who has had it said the common cold is generally worse. The worse case of Covid I personally know of was 3 days in bed with flu symptoms. Which is how this person is when sick with normal colds n flu’s. Everyone has been lucky with the strain of Covid getting around.

Ice cold here this morning.
I finally booked in to see the Cardiologist to find out about the test results from last month, They had someone cancel and I go next Thursday to see the Doc', my blood pressure has been going up and down and my Doc' said she let the heart Doc' change my tablets.
Been going down to the Chemist each day to get the blood pressure checked and they write it down, showed my Doc' and she said that they are up a little and not to worry about it.
One granddaughter had the virus and she felt Ok only had a small headache and runny nose.
Both to cold tablets to help get over it.
They saying People given blood that they found the virus in there blood and People did not know that they had the virus, Now they say more People have had it and don't know.

Work was doing random Covid testing.
I know of 3-4 guys in our team who were told they have Covid with no symptoms. They felt normal the entire 7 days in isolation.

I’m honestly more worried about the latest Flu. I already avoid people and crowded places as I don’t like people standing on top of me at the shops, I like my space. Nothing worse then when your in line at the servo to pay for fuel and the person behind stands 30cm behind and keep looking over your should, it’s just rude IMO

I hate it when they stand right behind you, I turn around a tell them to step back, Find young males and old ladys do it more.
I starting to wearing a mask again and that makes people to stand back from you.

I had a good laugh the other day I was standing on the walkway bridge near East Maitland station wait to get photos of a freight train and high school kids walking pass a few of them say Hi to you one cheeky girls say Hello Pops, It made me laugh at that. rofl Ya I look like some ones old Pop. rofl

Not much to report here as usual lately. No model building, maybe an hour of mini painting every 2-3 weeks as it’s just all work atm

Still barely any rain here, just a few cold nights followed by a cold morning

wave wave wave wave wave Hi all how you all going.
Aldi had cheap Revell car again 66-69 Mustang a 66 Corvette and a 70 Pontiac.
Was no going to get any as I have enough kits to build, Bruce said there was a 68 Pontiac and I was not interested in.
It was not until I went to buy milk that I seen the 70 Pontiac so I got two of them, I have been looking for the 70 Firebird since I built one back in 1992 and it got smash in a house move in 1993, by mister no body.
It was the first car that I airbrushed, I mixed paint up for it I had a little bit of Ford Blaze Blue and Ford Snow White together to get a pale blue.
So now I can replace the damage one.
I never been able to get another one until now and now I have two of them. clapping dance

Thanks for the Aldi tip - same time as last year. If I make it through the week without buying junk food, I'll go get one on Friday.
