read there is a new Boss at Photobucket and they took a big hit people not resigning up and removing photos, I remove some photos but every time I did I could only remove 6 every 3rd or 4th day I would getting blocked by adds popping up, They are talking about it on Model cars Magazine site. I have not looked at my page on there for awhile.

On another note I do like seeing what people do with with lowriders model or the real ones I love the wild paint jobs on them but its something I would not build maybe one day, The so called rat rods and cars with rust or weather paint leave me cold I don't under stand them to me they are a waste of money.
I say I am not a fan its just me the last thing I want to do is hurt someone If I have I am sorry.

There is a trend to find a patina'd old car thats mostly rust free from the drier places in the states and just clear over the old paint, I kinda gives me hope that there's bajillions of rust-free survivor cars out there hiding

This was in the latest email from Model Round Up.

"The big news in the last couple of months has been the change in ownership of Revell and details are still sketchy about what to expect next. We have reached out to many of our contacts in the industry, and the only thing we know for sure is that they have a new German Owner. Distributors have been told not to expect any shipments from Revell for the next 90 to 120 days. Our best guess is the company will re-emerge this Fall and inventory will begin to ship again. We will continue to update you as we hear more news."

"Knowing this situation with Revell was coming, we tried to stock up on whatever Revell kits we could find. We expect their former product plans and announcements to be executed, but at this point no one seems to know anything for sure. Regrettably, it is a sign of the times with a declining market. As always, our business remains strong and we intend to serve this market for years to come making every effort to continue to find models and more importantly find all the cool Aftermarket stuff that continues to pop up. We maintain live inventory on our web site, and if you can add an item to your cart, we have it available. However, nothing is reserved for you until you finalize your order."

I've all but give up on Revell kits, they're expensive and now even harder to get ahold of here  But we shall see in the coming months what happens. We still have Aoshima, Tamiya and Fujimi though!

Well worth the coin Allan. The mold of the kit is starting to show its age, a few mold lines here and there. Overall its typical Tamiya quality.
And the engine is just drool

Yeah mate, rear might come up a smidge more after the shocks are installed. But il be trying to drop it as much as I can after swapping out the wheels yes!

Im sort of the same, will still buy Revell kits just not as many as I use too.
Going to be interesting to see what eventuates with the brand.
Honestly I think Aoshima is leading the way, they might not have engines, but personally what they produce makes up for no engines. And that dont phase me too much as I enjoy curbsides, easier and more fun to build.
