 So the inner edge of the tyre is what, as thin as electrical tape rofl
All jokes aside, would look killa if stanced just right. As it reads like you can get it super low.

It’s like the 86 Rocket Bunny kits. 2 apples off the bench oob. The Aoshima big brakes are awesome too. I’ll have to post in more detail next time I put one together. I’ve only built the Nissan Cima in the K break series of kits

Very nice Luke.

I have been working full time as a draftsman for 3+ years now and have gone from being largely self taught with 2D AutoCAD to now being able to punch out 3D models in Solidworks:

I am actually really proud of this one, as for a one parter it had a ton of details to manage and incorporate.

I have recently done some much more complex assemblies and will check if I can share some pictures of those. Of course the model is only half the battle, taking that model and making a useful drawing out of it is where I do most of my work.

It is certainly a much nicer way to spend my time than trying to herd cats and bash my head against a wall as I did in previous roles, on a good day its almost like getting paid to build electronic Lego or models!

Random chaos on my painted parts shelf:

Image

Luke sent me these a while back, they looked really cool with the redline on the wheels but it was far from concentric, so a few minutes with the lacquer thinner and the red is gone and these will look really cool on something eventually:

Also, was poking around the Model Car Mag forums on Friday night and came across this in a build thread and thought it looked cool so decided to build one myself.
The creator was cool enough to create a tutorial which I mostly followed.

And here is my effort so far, thinking of grabbing some buttons off an old work shirt for the castors.

Good too see you posting what's happening at your workbench. Body trolley is kinda cool.

Ken Block destroyed his Escort the other day and the in car footage is crazy how fun it caught fire https://www.motor1.com/news/258411/ken- ... cort-fire/
