Just more on that al...
The old utes are still racing in a different series, forgot the name at this very second lol... it's old school production cars, like the Australian Touring Cars used to be.
Like Juminee said, the crappy ZB liftbacks are being used and will go against the Mustang but also, the Camaro hits our shores soon so I wouldn't count out 1 team running Camaro's, coz they look hella cool!!
The supershits... I mean superutes, are VERY unstable, i'm sure the flips have made youtube if you wanna search for them. I personally know Mick Sieders rolled 1... he had a little help but he still rolled. I think that was the same round someone else rolled too.
Was good to see Ryal clean sweep Bathurst, he dominates Bathurst in ANY ute.. not so well in the D2 series there tho. I'm sure he will dominate the GC as well, always does well there, home track an all.

Thanks for the infor about the utes Bodgybro, I Heard General Motors dropped the Camaro with the Pontiac FireBird/Trans AM and someone in Canada built the new Camaro using Holden HSV running gear, Also heard that the Corvette was going to be sold hear in 2018 but have not seen any. They are bring in the big Chevy Silverado pickup with the Dodge Ram.

Is that the ZL1 in the states? They look so good!!! I know there’s only one option in Australia atm, metallic paint. I hope they sell out quick and they can’t keep up like when the Mustang first landed

The next gen Camaro will be RHD from the factory though right? So this is a bit of a test but the new model will be an altogether simpler exercise?

I haven’t heard yet. The 2019 current/next face lift is LHD built only. I would assume we would have to wait for a new chassis/model change. A LHD factory car would drop the price possibly 15k from what I have read. I think each car costs HSV 20k to covert
