How was your day?
Re: How was your day?
Well I had a spanner chucked in the works this week wife is in Hospital.
We called Ambo last Sat' night and it took a few days before they found out what the problem is.
It look's like it's her Kidneys playing up they are working on getting them stable before she can come home again.
She had diabetes for years and gone from tablets to needle.
One of the tablets they give you to keep the diabetes under control has a bad side effect it damages the kidneys after a long time.
Robin also has a bad heart too a few years back she got fluid on her lung and the right side of the heart is weaker from trying to pump blood around the lung.
Two weeks ago she seen the heart Doc' about a scan on the heart she had two months before he said the heart has gotten weaker since the scan from last years.
My stress level is very high at this time worrying about her.
It's now a watch and waiting game and talking to the big fellow up stairs.

Re: How was your day?
Sorry to hear that Allan, hope she will be ok.
I'm afraid I don't have any calming words for you, but as someone who literally watched their wife die in front of them I can honestly say I feel for you.
She's still a long way from there yet so don't fret too much, it doesn't help you and especially not her.
Stay strong mate, it'll work out.
Not sure on the colour yet, maybe gunmetal and black.

Re: How was your day?
Thank's Bear, We take one day at a time that's all we can do for now.
I go to see her in the morning for a short time as I can not stay to long in the Hospital as I start to have a panic attack and have to leave the Hospital, It all goes back to early 1969 when I spent two months in Hospital, the sounds and smells get to me.
The wife under stands my problem.
Going to be nice colour on the Mustang.

Re: How was your day?
Well the wife is back home from hospital, looks like she had a heart attack that I did not find out about until she came home and talked to a woman up the back in a unit.
Last to know.

Re: How was your day?
Heart attack is better than a stroke.
She doesn't want to stress you out mate, and you are, aren't you.
She is sorta ok , I assume, so just settle a little or you'll end up there, and that won't help anyone.
Take care.

Re: How was your day?
Ya my stress level has been like stretch like a rubber band with worrying about her.
It was a slight Heart Attack that she had.
I even slept better last night now that Robin is home but she did not the old as our old cat walked all over in the night, Robin sleeps in a lounge chair that lays back, She been doing that for over ten years since her first Heart Attack that one came close to taking her out they worked on her for two hours, it was touch and go.
She is seeing her Heart Doc' today.
With all her problems she still here which is a good thing.
Trouble is I had no one to talk to.

Re: How was your day?
Look after her Allan, you'll both be ok.
Biggest thing I miss about my wife is talking to her.
You know get home after work and have a coffee and a chat about each others day.
No one knows you as well as your partner does, warts and all, and that funky little rash down........ nevermind.
Sure you can pick up the phone and call someone but it's not the same.
All the best Allan.

Re: How was your day?
Thank's Bear, Robin is lucky to be still here it's slowed her up a lot and find myself watching her a bit more closer.
She still has to see the Kidney Doc' to see which blood thinners she has to go on.
We taking one day at a time is all we can do.
One thing I found myself talking to myself
