That sucks Al.

The worst part is now she’s isolated which mentally doesn’t help recovery. I’m sure you’ll both be fine but just another unlucky time.

Good afternoon Robin is back home from Hospital and only has to do one day in lock down as she did most in the Hospital.
I had test and I got the all clear.
Yesterday I stop by Casey's hobby shop and layby a Gundam kit Ver.Ka, When I seen the kit a few years back it was in a large box and it was $130 and it was in a smaller box and for $68 big different glad me waited and it a MG kit.

Hey Alan, glad you both are ok.
You're gonna need a new story on your place to fit all you stuff in soon.
No change here, looking at buying a couple of files, but not much else going on.

Been running my trains on the shelf layout that I been working on, working on getting some buildings for it now they got to be small ones as don't have much space.
Waiting on better weather to paint some cars and lay-by a 442 class Diesel it's in the dark blue scheme and waiting for the new 38 steam loco' coming out in late Nov' or Dec', They working on a new model for the next one hope it's a 42 or 44 Diesel.
Looking forward to getting the Gundam, I know it's going to test me out rofl

Do you use SMS paints for your trains?
I know they have several Australian freight colour schemes.
Not into Gundam so dunno what's what, but it should keep you busy for awhile.

Been told Outlaw has done some Railway colours, Seen they have Indian Red but no Chrome yellow.
The trouble with Indian Red there is different shades of it, The Diesels were painted by different company's who supply the paint.
Years ago one could buy small bottles of paint to paint your Diesels but the Bloke who brought them out has passed away and you can not buy the paints, I bought some Indian Red and Chrome yellow but over the years the paint has gone dry.
Vallejo have a colour in there Model Color range, Hull Red which is close to Indian Red.
The same bloke who did the paint bought out NSWGR 45 class Diesels in all the different colour schemes and for the dark blue which is called Harbour Blue he found FORD Blaze Blue very close to the Harbour Blue, I was talking to him about the Diesels and the colours and said about the blue and what it look like the Ford colour and he told me that's what he used as it was very close, He could not get the paint code from the Railway as they did not know were it was.
That's when I bought the colours back in the late 80's and sadly Did not get a chance to buy a 45 class diesel as at the time did not have much spare money, have seen the odd one or two come up as second hand but they are badly knocked about and no one else has done the 45 :( one day might find one.

Oh it was Rodney James was the first one that brought out the NSWGR 45 class Diesels and been checking and found out that Auscision had came out with the 45 class Diesel but they sold out too. :(
The trouble is that company like Auscision you had to pre-order from them and it could take two or three years before the model came out and they only done a small run and had already sold out before they hit the shops and I think the bloke who own the company has passed away a few years ago.
All the models now are made in China.
