Since HRT chose not to do a throwback skin for the retro round at Sandown last weekend I wondered what a 1996 inspired livery might look like with 2016 sponsors.
I can certainly understand them choosing not to celebrate a livery so closely associated Craig Lowndes given recent events and they have bigger things to worry about right now but would have been cool to see this take the flag (or 7/8s of it given what happened to the left front guard in the race) on Sunday.
Huge thanks to Mitchell McLeod for letting me 'borrow' his Sharkbite logos and other bits and pieces from his 2016 HRT skin.

What program are you using to draw that up Bodgy?
I am just starting work on helping design a fairing for a salt flat bike, which is going to be a big challenge to draw. I dont get much of a chance to do curves so its something different.

I use a mix of programs Jiminee, Sketchup mostly, blender to solidify, netfabb to repair and meshlab to merge shells.
I also get help from a bloke online when I get stuck

Your progress is just in time for the V2 Bodgy. You might be the first to the punch here with the light reacting vinyl it wears.
