Yeah that's what I thought it was made from, I was watching the TV show American Restoration, a bloke bought in a a old caddy for them to cut the boot off to turn it into a seat, The works would not cut the caddy up as it was too good and it could of been restored so the found a rusty body and used the boot of it.

Way back in 1952 they did think about doing a Corvette Nomad and a few others but it never came about you find this one was built in the late 90's there have the new running gear in them, seen one as a ute too.
Oh just looked on good old google looks like they made three 1954 Corvette Nomads some say five.

That's interesting to know. I didn't think to google them!! I'm pretty sure this one has a tri-5 nomad roof so I doubt it's factory. Definitely something I haven't seen before.

That's a nice one Al!!! The Revell kits I've been building come with the rear guard inserts to so one could build them like that. BMFling the chrome on the front guard would be a pain tho, it's raise but there is no defined edge to trim the BMF back too.

I those while I'm in the area I'd stop into Hoby Habit and get some paint. $12.50 a can isn't too bad seeing as I don't have to pay postage but when I saw the price of the new kits DAMM!!!!!

jawdrop That's pricey, I just got the new Ford Bronco kit for $35 a bloke brought in five from the states, got the last one.
The fender skirt on the 55 look cool, but the chrome strip on the bottom of front fender to under the door is a add on bit.
