I picked the silver as a 2015 camaro but not so good on the older models... 67-69?

Camaro kit's box art.

69 Camaro.
Was primed with Mr Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black, and painted with TS-11 Maroon. Used black primer so the maroon would be a shade darker than if I used grey or white.

Concept Camaro.
Was primed with Mr Primer Surfacer 1000 grey, and painted TS-38 Gunmetal and then over coated with decanted/airbrushed TS-13 Clear with some Pearl Ex Sky Blue #647 pearl pigment mixed in. Still needs a couple coats of straight clear.

Paint for the Merc arrived today, need to set up a test piece so I can work out what colours il use. Image

So many coats and the Maroon still looks as smooth as glass!!!!

With the week of colder weather and some rain I pulled out my 67s. The Cherry black one just needs a top radiator hose and the gold one needs window wipers and better fitting tyres.
