Shouldn't cost you anything for the radiator if it was just put in....they need to sort it out for you free of charge

WTF! Whilst I like some of the styling/body lines, having no V8 is criminal.

Well that sux, here's to hoping you get all the bad ju-ju out of the way at the start of the year and then the remaining will be stress free.

Looks like the radiator cap was the trouble after they check every thing, the old one was put on new radiator  looks like new one does not come with new cap   I thought if you put a new radiator in you put a new cap but no. waiting to see the cost & new cap to arrive, may get the car back later today. I would of put a new cap on if I had known.

The mechanic just rang looks like its worst, looks like the head gasket is gone   and he said its cheaper to put another engine in it but that's going to cost over a $1000, money we don't have  Its a 93 camry been a good one. looks like we going be walking for a very long time from now on, Looks like some kits will have to be sold off too.

I'm always dubious about mechanics that say 'head gasket'.... a lot of them don't have any idea what a head gasket is but just say that to get bug $'s out of you.
I would get a second opinion, WITHOUT telling the second mechanic what the first said.
Seen lies told while working at Ford, been sceptical of mechanics ever since.
