Put it this way Allan, is there oil in the radiator? Are there visible signs of oil leakage near the head gasket?

Just been down to talk to the mechanic he not 100% sure is the head gasket, he is going to have another look at it after 5 today, got my fingers crossed and my toes. oh no water in the engine oil.

Went to get some special occasion beers, forgot my license was expired. So of corse I get asked for ID and I pull out my forklift license and get denied purchase :lol: Made me feel young somehow :roll: Now I shall sleep for the rest of the day ozflag

Wow! I don't know how they can knock that back it a government issued photo ID (high risk liecence)

expired license is still a valid form of ID should have just headbutt him and asked would an under 18 headbutt like that? :)

You and me both sandboarder, it was quite the unpleasant surprise lol

lol Bodge, it was a lady so I couldnt headbutt her haha. i think an expired license is valid ID for 2 years, then it's invalid. I just looked and it's 4 months off of being 2 years expired, so it was probably a mistake on their part. I told a mate and he was here within an hour with some freshies, it was a birthday miracle :roll: :lol:

Hope you had agreat day mate beer

Looks like it is the head gasket, I say the other day was the last straw for the car, think the trouble started Christmas eve, I did not see that the radiator top tank had a small leak thought it was the loose cap as I checked the day before, drove down the freeway to granddaughters to Toronto, rechecked car on Christmas day and found the leak as the engine was orange with water from the radiator, think that's was the start of the trouble and the new radiator was to much for it, so now its cost me big time :cry:
