I dont know what the hecks going on with my internet, but it is slowww! I've been mucking about with photo-etch brakes as well as balsa wood. Wanna do a bell-jar diorama then work my way down in scale to hopefully do some dioramas on spoons lol
Well this afternoon is one I did not want to come had, my white cat had to be put down her liver shut down about four weeks ago, spent money trying to save her but it did not help her, Took her back to the Vet this afternoon and she had to put down. Had her for 13 years.
Sorry to hear about you losing your feline friend Allan. The loss of a pet can be on the same level as a family member, friend or mate. So can understand how you might be feeling at the moment.
I have told the wife no more pets we have one more over weight male cat left his about 12 year old, We can not go away for a weekend, Robin went for four days to Qld for her daughters 50th birthday I had to stay home to feed the cats ya pets are like a member of the family, Had a red Kelpie for 14 years that had to be put down that was a hard day.
I said no more pets when our cat died, but because the kids, particularly my daughter, loved her so much... and was so devastated, the babysitter snuck a kitten around and everyone (except me) fell in love with her, so they badgered me until I gave in on 1 condition. it's not MY cat, so I don't feed it, clean up after it, or take any responsibility at all for it.
of course now... now i love the little furball, she's a maincoon cross with ragdoll, so she is very loving and fluffy. great temperament for the kids.
I haven't caved in almost 20 years to getting a dog... the landmines are my biggest reason for saying no.

Ya they have a way to getting under ya skin Sabrina was a long hair white cat, one thing now will not have to worry about going out side with long white hair all over your us, she would shake herself and the hair would float in the air from her I have been looking at a Kelpie but we have a very small yard and my legs are not as good as they were when I was younger, with a Kelpie I would have to walk it so not getting one. When I was 7 had a bulldog pup that someone stole would get another one but the cost of buying one if I win the lotto may get one, but that's not going to happen any time soon
