No good
Sky blue

didn't look right so i did all 5 blues on different sides/corners

sky blue on the front, TS-23 on the left, Grabber blue on the right

TS-23 on the right (front), deep sky blue on the left )rear)

grabber blue on the left (front), tamiya X-14 on the right (rear)

I let Adam kow I am struggling to match the #15 blue and asked for a sample of the vinyl used to colour match, he is getting some sent to me. so #15 is on hold until I get the sample vinyl to get the blue right/
I've tried mixing multiple colours of blue, none get close to the blue in the OP pic.
I even tested against some blue vinyls I have, nope... best guess is peacock blue

which i don't have any of and at $20/m, i don't intend to buy a metre just to compare.

But I am kicking on with the #51 decals

I don't know how they got grabber blue to be so light... it comes out pretty dark, I mixed it 3 parts paint 1 part thinners and sprayed it over white primer.

of course i tried that :)
it just makes a lighter blue of the wrong colour
It's kind of like a neon blue.. or electric blue if you're a child of the 80's
I'll wait til i get the sample before i continue mixing up paints.

I appreciate the ideas... there is no bad ideas when you're looking for a solution.
i'll have to check some out

It was darker then the TS-23 light blue :/

I have printed some light blue as a block decal... will be a huge pain in the ass to do such big pieces as decals but worst case.. i'll have a go.
When the sample arrives, i'll take it to my friends paint and panel shop to see if they can match it for me.
