MG MS-14S Gelgoog

Post by sandboarder »

Time to start this one so I opened it up and had a look. The plan is OOB with some more airbrush practice. Once it’s completed I’ll look at Weathering.

I checked out dalong.net for reference pictures and here’s what I’m looking at.

Lots of great details on this kit but one thing I won’t do is the pilot. 2 reasons, I’m not painting this as Char’s mobile suit so the pilot figure is wrong. Then of course they won’t be seen.

Image

I found a dude on YouTube who’s build I like, so I’ll copy some of what he done. His built was with no airbrush, my build will be once again more airbrush practice so hopefully it’s a lot cleaner before weathering. Here’s his frame idea in silver and gold.

So I’ll use silver, gold and titanium. Probably paint the thrusters. The body colours will be the standard issue grey and green like this kit. Maybe keep the shield blue n Yellow dunno at this stage.

I’ve prepped some parts ready for paint so hopefully I’ll have something to show soon

Started cutting out the parts for a atm and a leg but there’s so many parts so I’ll have to clean them up and wash them another day

Great paint application mate, good to see you getting use to using the airbrush.
Panel liner will bring it to life and make all the fine detail pop.
