Well look's like not much model building will get done this Summer time Weatherman said we are in for a wet few months until the end of Jan' next year Oh joy not, Look's like will be working on my layout more.
Looked at one of the 1/72 WWII Spitfires it's a Airfix one it shows a Bluey grey colour for the bottom of the plane and it said to use Humbrol paints, There was a paint number but no name, So after looking on line for two hours at colour charts came up they saying no number.
So found Vallejo do a WWII RAF set of colours I order a set from Casey's Hobby I looked on the Humbrol paint stand and found the colour  157 Azure Blue. Anyway will be staying with the Vallejo paint as there is enough paint to do all the English planes I have. dance clapping no wonder my hair is turning grey. rofl

Hope you all are ok and going well.

Hey Allan.
Think the weather doesn't really affect flats/semi's very much so you can still have a go.
Was Sam's 26th birthday yesterday, she had dialysis in the morning, but got spoilt the rest of the day.
She wanted chinese for tea, so she got it, and today I got my "present" from the chinese.
Hence me being home today.

Bear, That's why I looking at building the planes as they are doing in flat colour and with the Vallejo it's a nice paint to use paint brush, It's a water base Acrylic paint too. I used it on the HO scale buildings and one can mix colours together while painting, Doing that you can change to colour of the bricks to give it a more a realistic look on the bricks.

Late Happy Birthday to Sam sounds like she had a good half of a day.

That's one thing Chinese food will do to you

The new HO scale 38 class Loco has came in the shops, Got one hold at Ivan's shop will lay-by it.
This one is a Streamline loco 3803 in black and red strips on it.
There were 30 built in the 38 class, The first five were streamline the rest were un-streamline.
The next one will be 3820 un-streamline, this one is 3803.
In WWII the five streamlines were paint grey primer and were call grey nurse after the shark.
Most of them were black some were green one was dark blue for Royal train.
Streamline on the loco did not make it any faster just made it heavyer.

Hey Allan.
Good that you have a big interest in trains, there's soooo much stuff for that, even SMS have special paints for trains.
Should keep you occupied for awhile, a long while.

Ya Bear miss out on been a train driver, have love trains all my life my Father would buy a platform ticket and take me up to see the Engine on the front of the train, ticket cost half a penny. :D
These days I buying HO trains and working on my layout also going out and taking photos of real trains passing here.
Mainly get coal trains and there is freight, grain and the odd ore trains, sometimes you get a light diesel engine passing too, I even snap the Passenger trains and the XPT passengers.
Have over 10,000 photos so far. :D
