Well that only leaves TS-41 coral blue ??

:lol:So why you messing around trying to mix and match colours, when you have the option of getting paint custom matched/mixed it for you.

Nope, TS-41 was ruled out as well :)
I can't get it matched from a picture.. I need the sample piece, so when it arrives, i'll go and get it matched... it's not as cheap as matching it yourself tho... then again, with so many fails, it would be cheaper.

For the not so common and harder too match colours for your V8 ute builds. If I was you id get colour samples before starting a build, then take that and get custom mixed/matched paint for every build. That way you know your on the money with the paint.
Surely in the long run its got to be cheaper getting paint mixed/matched than buying spray cans all the time dunno

you forget 1 very important thing Luke... most ute teams are cheap, so they use the basic colours :)
It's pretty much only a handful that have odd colours if you look at the field. majority that have fancy colour, are usually small bits, doable with decals. if this was just a few accent pieces in this colour, i would do them as decals.
Example, Kris Walton's Rentco ute... the fluro was eventually matched with PS fluoro's, after comparing a sample of each vinyl.
This has been the most difficult to match so far... i really thought TS-23 looked right, can lid matches pretty close but when dry, not even 5 shades close.
meh... live and learn and find another way to move forward :)

thanks guys.
added the window black and headlight black today.
Chassis' are done, all parts except interior tubs are done, just need ot be painted (they are primed) and fit.
Had an issue with the interior tubs tho... 6hrs 28mins to print 2.... it got 6hrs 14mins in and the program shit itself, killed the print. so much wasted time and filament :/

oh on the print side of things... ALDI have 3D printers from tomorrow for $499. if you are keen on a 3D printer and have that coin, grab 1! I wouldn't mind getting 1 myself to have a second running.'
It's a relatively small bed but it will do most things except full bodies, due to size but you would be surprised what you make for around the house :)

bodies have been mounted on the chassis, just waiting to finish the decals to take pics before mounting them on the case bases.
