Got to work yesterday morning to find out 1 of my guards had been in a crash... 1 of the patrol cars is pretty much a write off



female asian P plater, out at 3am chasing.... fucking pokemon! she run a red light and my guy T boned her
luckily for her she was driving a VW golf which has great side impact protection, really not a huge amount of damage to her car, replace the 2 doors, straighten the sill out and she's right to go.



My guy came back to the office, jumped in another patrol car and continued his shift.

Pokemon GO has a LOT to answer for!! turning already stupid people into more stupid people!

If you do something dumb, don't worry... just remember, there are full grown adults hunting Pokemons! NOTHING you do, can make you as dumb as them!!

Bet her car would be wrote off too, there would be a lot of hidden damage, Seen I young bloke run across the road in front of a car, chasing a Pokémon, car only just missed him but not the power pole he hit it head on as he was looking down at his phone, Boy did I laugh

I've seen some absolute idiots playing that game, some of the behavior is appalling. I play it, mostly because it's time I can spend with my friends before I move away from them, and partly because I grew up on Pokemon. The park we go to has 3 crossings and people don't even look up from their phones when crossing. I put my phone in my damn pocket when I'm anywhere near the crossing because I don't want to get cleaned up and more importantly, don't want anyone to have an accident. The littering is also disgusting.

I'm glad the driver was okay, as for the girl, she should have her Pokemon game banned and she should play 'pay for my f*ck-ups' Go.

Just to let you guys know, I'll be moving house and putting my stuff into storage whilst I get my sh.t together.

Although I'm working now, things have been pretty tough financially so I've decided to make this call until I get back on my feet.... yes!

I've Pretty much halved my salary since I was made redundant and starting in this job and it doesn't justify renting and paying over the top utility charges

All I can say is thank god I'm working because it's pretty hard out there for sure....
The main thing is I'm happy and 'building a bridge' and also consumed multiple cups of 'harden the f.ck up'

Today was probably the hardest I've had in a while. Thought it would be my last day at the shop I've been volunteering at, since I'm so behind on packing etc. But just after 10:30, during break-time, one of the ladies' husbands turned up with 2 police officers in-toe, informing her that her son had killed himself the night before. I saw the nicest lady I knows' life come crashing down right in front of her. I wont be forgetting her face and the sounds she made when they told her any time soon. I always arrive early on a Monday morning so I can have a cuppa and chat with her, and to see what music she bought in to play in the shop stereo (classical guitar, a rock mix from the Vietnam war era and Queen). She was absolutely smashed up. So I'm filling in for her, stuff packing and crap.
