Had some issues with the paint... again.
I made the mistake of saying "as long as i don't have any trouble with the paint" to my mrs when she asked will i have it done in time... NEVER EVER say that!!!

had a lot of drama with paint but now it's done and cleared and drying. will be decalled in the coming days, then cleared again and put together.

Finished with 1 day to spare. will seal and box it tonight, ready to fly up to the Gold Coast and deliver it tomorrow.

Flew to the Gold Coast for my 40th birthday weekend, had to repair the 1st Rentco ute as it appeared the diff had banana'd but when i got there and had a look at the model, it had a lot more to repair. don't know how, but the chassis was all broken and the mounts were loose. when i removed the model from the case, the whole interior fell off the chassis too. looks like it has been dropped or roughly handled.




Now all fixed and a pic with the newly delivered 1... keen eyed viewers may spot a few small differences.
