That would be a pretty cool truck to have Bodgy, I don't think you could do many jumps with it but it would look great ripping up the driveway.
From memory when my friend had 1, they are great for soft roading... look good ripping across the lawn and gravel but like you say, not good for jumps.
I just like the size / lift on it.
I used to have a Hornet and a Fox, both totally different handling, the fox was an absolute weapon back in the day.
currently only have on road stuff now but did check out the re release of the hornet a few years back.... was tempted, very tempted

Its a smartech chassis and I'm lead to believe they were brand specific parts along with a lot of whats on the car. I have spent around $100 on mixed parts from all over the place just to see if they fit, even they look similar they go nowhere near fitting so I think its best to retire her before she's a total loss.
3D printed parts!
if the old ones are still measurable, i could design you up new ones, you can get them printed through shapeways in resin or even metal

No probs, think the bits I got are Tamiya anyway.
Let her rest in peace.

Finally got round to sorting my shed, so here are my RC bodies

my first was a WRX, no idea where that is.. but 2nd was a GTR... can see it's had some big hits.
Chucked it after these pics

Then I did a mercedes, which i never actually ran on the chassis

My fav, which is now in the bin as well, is my F250. i added the engine to the bonnet and my kit if all wheel drive but still drives like a rear wheel drive, the exhaust is out the rear bar, so when it's doin donuts, it looks like it's smoking the rears. looked awesome with this body... but alas, it was pretty smashed up so time to go.

A VT commodore I did to look like the Tiger Orange clubber

Never finished this RX7, now i might 3D print the head/tail lights. it hasn't been cut yet either and still has the plastic protective coating on it.

VY Maloo ute with working lights. the head/tail lights work via an off/on switch, then there is 3 micro switches as you can see in the pic. 1 below the rear window, the servo hits this when it's not moving forward.. so unless you have the stick forward, the brake lights are on. the 2 side microswitches get hit by the turning servo, flashing front/side/rear orange LED's like indicators. I did have a video of it working somewhere but might put new batteries in to make a new vid for you guys.

Another light job.. this 1 has working headlights and working light bar... PLUS it has a working siren :)
The body has gone shit, looks like 1 of the other bodies it was sitting on, has bled into the white.
