Bun was purely practical/functional

So I’d been growing my hair for 6 years as abit of a joke between me n the missus. In that time tho 5 members of the family have had to deal with various forms of cancer so I decided when the time came to donate it to make a wig for kids who have to deal with it. I wanted my head shaved but every one hanged up and I got a normal short hair do instead.

hello

Very short brief version of what's been happening in my world.

I attempted to take my own life on June 8, did not succeed. ended up in hospital, daily mental health check ins, shrink, new meds. bear and KC have been there for me.

I have a major project on the go, can't give to much info yet except to say i have partnered with a big name in motorsport to produce a unique piece of replica/memorabilia. I have got my part to production, the partner will do his part shortly and with a big of luck and timing, it may get some air time at Bathurst as first completed item goes to an up and coming name who tends to get air time in the garages of the supercars.

I have still been doing models, i will post pics of the goods later.. maybe tonight. I have 2 utes on the go at the moment and 4 WRX's, all paid builds.

I now have 2 liquid printers and 4 FDM printers.

I have several things on the go.... is anyone interested in bulk #11 blades, when i say bulk i mean 100 or more at a time? I have a contact to get custom made blades, black blades with a KV logo on them, worked out to be around $45-55AUD for 1000 blades. I paid $45 for 100 X-acto so I looked into producing my own. I can also get hobby knives in bulk if anyone is keen.

I will be working every night except sundays for the next few weeks, doing so. I plan to complete a few bodies for production. I have plenty of bodies done, just not print ready. I may post pics and a thread for voting on what i do in order.
I also have a chinese contact who are producing bodies for me in ABS plastic. I have 4 WRX's done by them. pics will be uploaded when i start the paint. I am looking to produce bodies in small batches for sale. each 1:24 body will be around $30-40, but the more i get, the cheaper it is obviously.
I've been looking at ways to expand and to reduce costs. I would like to produce bodies for scratchbuilders more than full kits. Hoonicorn V2 is almost complete... that will be the first new body available. I am looking at getting 20 or so of V1 and V2 done and listing on ebay... if anyone is keen, let me know, KV members get cheaper price obviously.

anyway... i'll be in and out over the next few days/weeks.

Glad to see you popped in!!

Sad to hear the first news but glad you doing better.

Sounds like you have a lot on your plate atm but hopefully keeping busy helps and you have a lot of projects to take pride in and to be proud of!!

I’d never use that May blades but doing the quick maths and I’d take a batch, would the knifes be black too?

Looking forward to seeing more posts from you thumbsup

Awesome looking builds!! thumbsup

Great work on the 3D drawings. I’d have to say I’m a fan of the Commodores.
