3d stuff

Post by slowlylearning »

Thought I'd make a thread for all the random junk I'm probably gonna be 3d drawing and printing :)

Did another print today with a set of wheels and some octagonal steering wheels in different sizes, 2/4 wheels failed but I think that's due to the LCD screen in that particular part of the print-bed spot  All 4 steering wheels were successful though my 3d drawing had a couple of holes in it, so the slicing program bridged them together. I cleaned one up enough to be usable though I'll probably do some other steering wheels in the near future.

Wheel print needed a lot less cleanup this time thanks to some advice from Bodge. Still need to go back and resize the insert to be slipfit instead of hahing to slightly sant the perimeter and cut away a smidge of boltring haha

So good!!! thumbsup

Still in touch with Bodgy? I sent him something a while back but haven’t heard anything. Starting to think he’s given up on his own site/forum.

Interested to see what other cool stuff you come up with :D

Yeah he's just super-duper busy these days with job-related stuff and all that, he's doing good, not given up on us :)

Cheers man, I'm excited as hell for what the future holds with this thing

Been mucking with this particular design for yonkers, centers printed fine but the hoops seemed to suffer somewhat, but I'm slowly getting there. Soon enough I'll have it sorted :)

Even still blowing my mind that this is possible pullinghair
