Re: Diorama
Here is a good idea of the size. Gundam used is a 30mm. Next time I’ll try a HG in it when I have one out.

Re: Diorama
It look's the right scale for it just need to add a few more base and add some people working on them and spare parts.

Re: Diorama
I wanted ladders and walkways so I bought some eBay mechanical chain base
here’s what I got.

So it’s hard plastic, poor fitting, well detailed. Over all opinion is it’s ok. I won’t be getting any more. The base and back isn’t square and will require some work and glue to fix. The genuine Kotobukiya piece doesn’t fit with it’s knock off version. Kotobukiya Is a lighter grey and softer plastic

Is it the same as what ItsAGunpla used, reckon he mentioned it wasnt top quality but it is perfect low cost version to help create the scene but will need a bit extra work.sandboarder wrote: So it’s hard plastic, poor fitting, well detailed. Little by little and you will have an awesome back drop dio.

Re: Diorama
Cheers guys it’ll turn out good in the end
This will detail up well for something and hopefully the walk ways fit on the Kotobukiya at a later date.
It sure is. I google for the Domain Base. I couldn’t find them anywhere, so I bought no brand eBay and got the domain Base. So now we all know what it is and what to expect. It’s exactly how itsagunpla described. So for the 2 pieces (floor and wall) it cost me $25-30 for the genuine product I’ve seen them for $45 and believe you get 2x floors and 2x walls.
