Starting to look more Goufy now!! There’s so many seperate little pieces in those tubes/pipe work!! That’ll do my progress for another week. crossed I get the arms n head finished this year. I’ll still do all of if weapons before I go back to the HG Dijeh kit.

It’s currently 10:30pm and 30 degrees outside. So I managed to quick paint (top coat) an arm. crossed I can sneak in the other arm in the next few days but we are set for 3 days over 40 now.

Worth waiting and having patience to fit in bench time when you can, going to be excellent when complete.

Yeah il be in the hobby room with the a/c set at 23 for the rest of the week.

Ended up finishing the arm and back pack so I got pics :D

Boosters are Tamiya silver leaf with Tamiya flat clear and I’ve still had troubles cleaning up the panel line ink. The Tamiya clear goes textured and then trying to clean that strips it and the silver strips very easily. Also got some more of the whitening on the lower back pack panel. I’ve read it’s common for the paint if it’s not mixed properly or it’s applied to wet. Oh and another stress mark in the middle of the back pack

Even though you are having a couple issues here and there, overall it gets more impressive with each update. Nearly there mate, keep at it when you can.

Good job on the spike seam too.

Best way to learn the process is having to solve and fix issues. And its on the back so not overly noticeable.

Forgot to say, when you get use to the airbrush you will be able to apply the flat clear with alot more control.

No airbrush yet.

All clear coat on the body is Mr Hobby Premium Top Coat Flat. Will post more on the paints later. I’ve used 2 cans of top coat on the Dom test tour and 3 cans of premium on the Gouf so far
