Oh What a Feeling

Post by Bear »

It's funny how sometimes the smallest things can trigger something in your head.
I saw a pic somewhere of a Levin that spurred me to buy one straight away.
It was a sort of olive green and had a grunty, nuggety look about it, a Japanese street drifter.
Do you think I could find that bloody pic again??
Anyway, in the process of lowering it a little, a bit rough and nasty tho, it's currently in primer.
Have some awesome Orange wheels to go under it too.
Here's the box.

You'll be right mate, practice the small and chassis parts first.
Hope you share progress pics along the way.

Just to prove I don't only collect, here's a small update on the Levin/Corolla.

Initial look and very similar to when it's finished.

Lowering is a bit down and dirty, but it works.

Thats what its all about with the curbside builds mate, doing what ever it takes to get the stance.
Sometimes sacrificing details of the undies is part of it, just paint the chassis flat black and airbrush it for practice.

Concentrate and put all the effort into the interior and top half exterior details ;)
