Figures

Post by B61 MACK »

Over the next few months or so I will be starting to paint up some of the figures that come with the Tank kits that I have been building, I was not going to worry about building them up but are seen Sandboarders WarHammer it got me thinking about them
and after looking on U -tube it got me thinking more about them, Almost was going to put them in the rubbish bin but now they will be saved and painted up.
Just need to buy some fine tip brush's and more Vallejo paints.

Glad to see you giving them a try. Are they 1:35 scale then? I think with Vallejo model or games paints and a shape tip brush you’ll be right. Watch some YouTube and learn what they do.

This one is out of the Jagdpanzer L/70 lang, One thing I found with a lot of the figures don't fit, He should stand in the hatch but the opening is to small
Have glued his arms on next step to remove the seams then grey prime him.
One thing I seen with painting the figures they do the face first.

This is what I’ll be using tub, sponge, baking paper, I just need to add water. Should come in handy for decals too when the baking paper is out.

So you don't need paper towel a sponge will work, thought baking paper has to much wax to use. question How much water do you use.

The guy who runs the local games shop said he uses baking paper and you only need enough water to fill the sponge. Use water to thin the paint and the wet palette just stops the paint from drying out. I haven’t tried it yet but it only cost me $8 to make up
