BMW Z8

Post by B61 MACK »

This is a Revell kit and it's a curbside, I have built one in the pass and was looking at something quick to build.
One thing it has chrome door mirrors but on the real car they are body colour so I glued them in place and will put a splash of colour on it tomorrow with a bit of luck :)

Here is the body.

Yes it does look odd now.
It can be built as a Roadster or a Coupe the roof top is in clear plastic, going to be fun masking around the rear window so you can paint.
I have done a BMW Z3 as a roadster may do this one as a coupe. thinking
No painting on the body as there is heavy cloud cover after the passing storm in the night.

I have a similar BMW, I think it's a little older, but it's the long-bonnet convertible typeas well, got it on Ebay for a steal because the windscreen frame is broken and missing... I was thinking of doing a Euro-speedster with the low down windscreen type thing.

They indeedly do look strange as just the body

Missed getting one of the new Mustang roadster kits never seen them in shops here and when they did come in they sold fast.
They used a silver BMW Z8 in James Bond 007 movie.

Using Vallejo model color on this one seat are Desert Yellow which I have brushed on.
Will be Airbrushing the body in Vallejo Light Turquoise and using Vallejo thinners.
