That's a different one then they had at Casey's hobby shop.

Aldi had cheap 1/32 Revell truck kits on sale, A Kenworth T 600 with Pan and a R model Mack truck with tanker, I was going to buy two and had to go to three different shops to get the Mack they sold out fast, I did not want the Kenworth just the Mack. $50 dollars each.

Hi Bear, Yes all for me and just bought three more car kits they were under $55, Tamiya VW Bug, Tamiya Porsche 911,Tubro '88, Fujimi Porsche Cayman. I was surprise to see the price of them as Most kits at Casey's Hobby shop are $80 to $90.

Yes Bear got a few different things, making up for what I did not have as a young boy, Back then had a few Matchbox Cars and the odd Hotwheels Cars.
I could buy a Matchbox car for 20c and Hotwheels were 60c and not many around.
Been looking at some very nice OO9 Loco's they are OO scale and run on N-scale track, They are Narrow gauge ones, got one on order rofl
Oh I started building Old Airfix Bi planes and Tri planes that were two bob each it 1965 and in 1966 they jump up to 80 cents.
I build them up and on Bon Fire night glue them to Sky Rockets and send them up, Then spend the next day looking for them. rofl
I had a old second hand die-cast Batmobile and try to jump it across a 15 foot wide creek down a wooden ramp it end up short and end up in ten foot deep water rofl
Oh the ones who did the HQ sedans did a Panel Van and they sold out very fast here, did not even see them in the shop.
I trade my HQ sedan for a Porsche 911.

Did some bits and bobs on my work bench while watching the Bathurst, nothing note worthy, just some bar work on a couple of cages.
BUT it gave me a spark to make more effort now summer is sort of here, so we'll see what comes out of it.

A little bit keeps your interest in it.
Local Hobby Shop sold out of the Holden Van's early and the other day they had more there as well as the HQ sedan.
Seen photo's of the next one XW Falcon Sedan.
Been working on my layout and painting to back drop on it and been working on the two '88 Porsche's.
Pick up a cheap Aoshima Kit, It was $109.99 down to $59.99, It's the Pagani Huayra, looked nice on the box art but on open it my jaw hit the floor it's going to be a Night Mare to put together, Told my mate Bruce that I got it and he said that I should of left it on the shelf.
He said it is not a easy kit to build and he seen some on Model Cars Magazine Forum and the blokes who built them had trouble with the body of it.
The body is a multi-piece and it' hard to line up.
I would like to build it up but I think it would be to much for me and even Bruce said that he would have trouble with it.
It's the first Aoshima kit that I ever bought might be the last one too.
