WRC Corolla, MCM Aussieball 2016

Post by Ray »

My next CB offering.....
Next years Cannonball will be done in here in Australia after members on the MCM forum really liked the idea (after a bit of whinging  )
The route is Darwin to Adelaide with 2 slight deviations...turn right at Katherine and head to Halls Creek on the Victoria Hwy/Savannah Hwy and turn left down the Tanami track to Alice Springs then jump on the Old Ghan route at Alice Springs down to Pt Augusta  run
Was looking for a 4X4 but decided to stick with this Revell WRC Corolla, I'll put a fair bit of time and effort into this as the paint job I'm proposing will make this thing stand out! It will have all the bells and whistles, spare tyres, roo bar, spottys etc ;)
The only thing I'll need to do is flip the dash and raise the suspension a tad....

Being that you have knowledge of the route, im sure your build will be well thought out and have some cool features.

Going to be interesting to see what the seppo's build.

Just been doing the bar work and ready to flip the dash, the only downside is that this kit is NOT the safari version so I have to make a few adjustments and additions ;)
