The templates for the windows are awesome, pity they leave a fair bit of adhesive residue behind when you peel them off

Thanks chaps, I'll leave it at that for now and put it all together, still need to work on the ride height, the bonus is I finally found all the 'Safari' bits from the Tamiya Celica WRC kit I built back in the early 90s

I must admit, this kit has stood the test of time, purchased not long after the kit was released, my skills were average back then, quick coat of Tamiya gloss white and used no decal setting solution, just dipped in water.....no clear coat either, she sits proudly in my cabinet :D

I have a coles branded dishwashing liquid that has tea tree oil in it, this is wonder stuff!!
I used it to remove residue on vinyl jobs, I used it on a model when I had issues with masking (non tamiya) leaving residue... works brilliantly!!
a little in warm water, toothbrush to gently rub over the submerged parts, residue gone.
Also, if you ever get chewing gum on anything, same process!!
my son got it stuck on his pants, bit of this liquid in warm water, toothbrush scrubbing his submerged pants, every single bit of chewy came off.
next time he put chewy on the mrs seatbelt coz he thought it was funny, toothbrush dipped in the mix and scrubbed, gone!
I'll put a pic up when i'm home, was cheap but has come in super handy for any sticky or residue crud you need gone.

Cheers mate, I've got the Meguiar's Plast X which seems to be working, just need to do a bit more, this adhesive is really sticky
